Anglo Saxon Day

On Monday year 3 and 4 had a great time learning all things Anglo Saxon! They went on fact hunts, ate some traditional Anglo Saxon snacks, listened to some music played on the lyre, played traditional games, made clay standing stones and designed their own illuminated letters. It was great to see them all dress up for the occasion and we had fun learning about the amazing Monks like St Columba and St Aiden who set up Monasteries and worked so hard to share Jesus and teach people about Christianity.
